Bulk URL status checks for small teams
If you manage a list of websites — yours, your clients', a competitor watch list — checking them one by one in a browser tab is tedious. A bulk checker submits them all in one request and returns the result as a table.
TL;DR
Need to check 20 URLs in one shot? The bulk URL status tool returns a JSON-friendly table of status codes, latency, and content type for each.
What a bulk checker actually does
You paste up to 20 URLs, hit submit, and the tool probes each one in parallel from a server (not your browser). Each URL gets a status code (200, 301, 404, 500, timeout), a latency in milliseconds, and a content-type (text/html, application/json, etc.). The result is rendered as a sortable table you can copy or download.
Why check from a server, not your browser
Browser-based reachability checks use CORS and have limited control over the request — they cannot set a custom user-agent, cannot follow redirects selectively, and time out faster than a server. A server-side check uses plain HTTP requests with full control, so you get accurate status codes, real latency, and content type without browser interference.
Common use cases
Monitoring your own properties after a deploy (did the new release break anything?). Spot-checking a competitor list for SEO purposes. Validating a redirect map after a site migration. Auditing a CDN to make sure all edge nodes return the same content. Running a periodic audit (cron job) and emailing the results to yourself.
Limits and caveats
Free tier checks up to 20 URLs per call. Latency is measured from one server (not multiple), so a slow result could be the destination or the network between. The tool does not check the body of the response, only the status line and headers — if a 200 page is showing an error message, you will not see it.
